I'd likek to see Expendables and Machete, but I'll catch them on DVD or cable. No going to the theater for me for a while.

Only movies I know of offhand that are upcoming that I want to see are Resident Evil: Afterlife and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.

The rest of the previews I kinda forgot the names to the movies cuz I was too focused on the action in Expendables

I don't know what weather you have had lately but I have seen post-storm photos (never in person) where strong storms moved those things across the fields and into a creek, or some similar barrier.

Rex, I've lived in the Plains almost all my life, where such bales and strong winds are both common, and I've never seen a wind outside of a tornado that could move one of those.

How the hell does a half-ton bale of hay roll out of a field and into traffic?

Google has already changed their logo (here, at least). Today, it's completely grayscale until you type something in the search box, then it lights up one letter after another.

I'm very well actually, just sitting around at work as one does; draining resources from very large companies haha.

But I'm feeling my posts look a little bare, perhaps an avatar and an signature, haha.

A Twitter user's comment with regards to today's version of Google's logo: "One day Google is going to take over the world. And we won't even know because we'll be too busy playing with their logo to notice."

Tilted Mill have announced they're working hard on the second patch, and will announce "sometime this week" when it will be available
QUOTE All, We’ve been working on a significant game update for SCS for the past several weeks. We’re of course anxious to share more details about it with you, including letting you know when it will be available, and will do so sometime next week. All I can say about it right now is that we are really excited to continue to advance SCS, and to respond in real terms to all the thoughtful feedback we’ve gotten about the game. This will be the first in a series of updates, introducing new features, as well as enhancements to existing features. We really appreciate your patience. -Chris http://www.tiltedmill.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14739 -------------------- ![]() Be nice to them or they might decide to "bring you democracy" My runs on Runner+ Now using Garmin Forerunner 405CX! |

Posted on the official SCS boards:
QUOTE Hi folks, We know there is a lot of anticipation for news on the next game update, and the SimCity team is just as anxious to announce what we've been working on for the last few weeks. In fact, we are extremely excited and can't wait to give you the news. We are putting the finishing touches on the official announcement, and we'll proclaim it far and wide next week. For now, for the loyal SimCity forum community, here are a few details... there is a new game update coming. It's a large update, with many new features and enhancements. Its contents are based on the many requests from the fan base. It is the first in a series of updates. That's all we can say for now. Keep your eye on simcitysocieties.ea.com next week for more details. Have a great weekend! from the frontpage:
QUOTE Difficulty SCS Increased in Second Patch
Earlier on EA announced that they would release some news on the second patch for SCS this week. Although no release date for the second patch has been set as yet, details of it are emerging on the official SCS forums. It appears critique on SCS being too easy has been taken to heart: QUOTE We are proud to announce the introduction of three new Strategic Modes of play, Basic, Hardcore and Nightmare, which will stretch your city-building skills to the limit. According to the SimCity Team these new Strategic Modes impact gameplay all over the board, making it harder to balance finance and Sims happiness. These Strategic Modes are said to differ greatly from the Creative Modes that the team apparently decided to dub the current difficulty settings. The patch also includes polishing of the UI to match the atmosphere of your cities, optimisations, and (very important!) bug fixes. -------------------- ![]() Be nice to them or they might decide to "bring you democracy" My runs on Runner+ Now using Garmin Forerunner 405CX! |
