Great promo I must say! Looks like you folks got the technical glitches out this time. And great idea that you tell us a bit about what the podcast will feature next week. Can't wait to hear the next one!

Tristan is still a bit louder than Rex, I notice. It's not anywhere near as much of a discrepancy as in Episode One, but it's not completely balanced yet either.

Here is a reminder that we're looking for others to join us, in just one segment of about 10 to 12 minutes. The podcast is really Trixin's; it's not ours together, and I'm on the whole thing for someone for him to talk to, interview, and bounce off of. He's doing a great job, and could use some others to talk to about what's going on with them in the gaming world. That could inlcude reviews of the games they are playing, their CJ's, and other related topics. I still think it would be great to have one segment where there's a round table with a half dozen or so of us interacting on 2 - 3 topics, with Trixin directing the topic flow.

Not at all! Skype is very easy to set up and its free. You do need Skype to podcast with us, I'll PM you some more details when I get a chance. That also goes for anyone else who is interested in joining, just post here, PM me or email us at podcast@simphoni.net

Once again, I'd like to thank everyone for your support and encouragement! It is greatly appreciated!! icon_biggrin.gif

EDIT: And it looks as though someone changed my custom title icon_razz.gif

LOL! That wasn't me, but it's pretty funny.

So you know, I was reluctant to install Skype in the beginning, too but I did so in order to be on the podcast, and have no regrets about it. It's a fine program.

Maybe some time in the near future I would like to be in the podcast, but my problem is that my timezone is really different from you guys. So being online at the same time as you guys might not be possible for me.

I have little doubt that we can arrange for anyone to participate in the podcast. We won't let a little thing like time zones stand in the way.

Hey everyone! We have some unfortunate news. Episode two of the podcast went great but we are unable to post a link since there seems to be trouble with the server. I'll get the episode posted as soon as we fix the problem. Thanks for your time!

Hi guys,

Does your server run on IIS? if so, I would highly consider looking at the MIME types defined in the administration panels.

Yay! Worth the wait? Yeah! icon_yes.gif

Though, does anyone else think Trixin sounded slightly annoyed at me? icon_lol.gif Well, if not, he probably will be now... icon_mrgreen.gif

You've got me going all nit-picky on you now. (hey, I was one of the BSPP guys after all) You mispronounced my forum name! icon_lol.gif Emphasis on the first syllable, not the middle one. TOR-o-ca. And with that thought, my brain started spinning off on a completely irrelevant tangent... Is anyone else being mispronounced? icon_mrgreen.gif I'm wondering at Gil, which you've pronounced with a g as in gene. However, I always assumed it was pronounced like the "gill" of a fish. Considering his avatar is the White Tree of Gondor and his Signature was for a long time a quote from Tolkien, I always assumed Gil was short for the Elven King, Gil-Galad, or possibly Gilthoniel. Both would be pronounced with a G sound as in get or give, according to Tolkien.

icon_whistle.gif icon_wasntme.gif Yes, I'm a Tolkien nerd. icon_mrgreen.gif

Best quote: "This is not a game for us."

Nice, guys. Looking forward to number three. icon_mrgreen.gif

I agree. I have always pronounced it tor-OH-cah and now I will have difficulty remembering it the other way. When Trixin first began talking about Gil, I thought to myself, "Who's Jill?"

Thanks for the codus on the podcast. I am glad Trixin finally got it to work. I was going to spend my day working on it all today if he hadn't.

I don't know how to pronounce my name myself, but I prefer the Tolkien version ("star" in Sindarin) like in Gil-galad. (G like in give, i as the i in machine).

Anyway, I still have to find time to listen to the podcast. I hope the plugin works and I would like to hear some feedback about it. Anyone with iTunes who can confirm the integration?
