I am working on getting the RSS feed set up in iTunes now.

Love the music, Trixin. icon_smile.gif (I can't hear it when we're recording)

Good to know that you enjoy the music! I was going for something a little more laid back in order for the music to flow nicely and to have smooth transitions.

On that note (pun not intended), does anyone have comments regarding the bumper music? I would love to hear what some of our musicians and non-musicians alike thought about the bumper music icon_smile.gif

I just listened to the podcast episode 2 for the first time since we recorded it. Gee, my voice sounds like Ray Ramano when I listen to a recording of myself. icon_sad.gif

My own critique: I do like the music, Trixin. You did a very nice job with that.
I thought we got a bit long-winded. I noticed that even as we were recording it, I felt as though we were dwelling on each topic longer than most listeners would have the patience to stick with us.
Oh, and I didn't want to interrupt and mention it as we were recording, but the word Leviathan is pronounced "lev-EYE-ah-thun", not "lev-ITH-ee-un". See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leviathan for the origins of the word in biblical mythology.

Oh, and by the way, I am a musician myself, having written and composed a lot in my earlier years, so it wasn't an entirely lay opinion. icon_biggrin.gif

I almost brought that up, but I thought I'd done enough for one night. icon_mrgreen.gif

Just had time to listen to it. I must say I didn't really get the feeling of it being too long winded, but then again, I was also working at the same time.

As for the podcast button: it was me using the templates TMU provided icon_wink.gif

The custom title? icon_whistle.gif

Nice podcast! Glad to see the technical glitches are out this time. Well as Rex said that maybe it got a bit long-winded but a review has to be detailed. I mean when I read a review, it has to be detailed even if it is a bit long. Maybe next time you could limit each section for a particular time length, maybe that could be better?

So, what is FTW, anyway?

I am listening to the podcast episode 2 again at work, from my iPod. I have to say, I really enjoy participating in these. It is fun. I can't decide whethet I think I sound more like Ray Ramano or Tom Brokaw with a stammer.

Listening to the podcast right now, (feedback part)

Good sound quality, but I'm going to downgrade my soundcard and headphones again, I can hear every drop of spit! ewwwww panic[1].gif icon_wink.gif

Is a whole Podcast made in one go? sure sounds like that, wouldn't it be a good idea to cut and paste a bit. (though unedited like this has a charm to it)

Well, here's my feedback. icon_wink.gif In future, you might consider also posting a link to the new podcast in the post where you announce it, as well as in the first post. Maybe that seems like a small thing, but I'm a lazy surfer and it's one less click. icon_mrgreen.gif

The podcast seems to be a success. We might just start a new thread for each episode in the future.

Hey everyone! The holiday special of the SIMphoni podcast is now available on the first page of this thread. Because it is very different from our regular format, it isn't considered to be an official "episode". So look for episode four of the SIMphoni podcast in the new year. Thanks for listening and happy holidays!

Yay for transatlantic skype lag. icon_razz.gif

I'm listening to it now, and Rex sounds weird, a lot of noise in that signal. Doesn't really matter.

Thanks for having me lurk on the show icon_smile.gif
