As we mentioned some time ago our own software techie sdrawkcab is back from overseas. Since he has returned he has been hard at work to implement some often requested features on the forums.

We now have two brand new and fully functional skins. The skins can be selected at the bottom of each forum page. They are entitled “Misty Morning” and “Evening at the Simphoni”. Both of these skins feature logos created during the logo creation contest a while back. So, test them out, try them on and let us know what you think. A big thanks go out to Shadow Assassin and Pixie for the logos for each of these skins. We are working on getting even more skins up, so stay tuned.

Furthermore, we have just upgraded our shoutbox to a brand new product. It uses the same tables as the original we had, and as such, all 14000 of our shouts have been restored! Plus, the dreaded “window minimize” and “enter key” bugs have been eliminated! Test it out, let us know what you think!

We are working on a new way to better streamline Downloads are handled here at Simphoni, the better to serve you all with exciting creations from your peers.

Finally, a very exciting addition to your forums experience: it’s now possible to embed videos in your posts! To embed a video in a post, inclose the full url of the site where the video exists into the following tags:[video][/video]

In case you run into bugs, please let us know through the IP.Tracker program which was recently installed. It serves as a new bug tracker for us to help manage these bugs as they occur. The tracker can be found at the top of the forums.
