Sporepedia Accessible: 261 Creatures and Counting

Our Editor-in-Chief Gil found something really nice: the Sporepedia is already accessible through a backdoor on Spore.com. At the time he found this 197 creatures had been entered, but even though the release of the Creature Editor is still days away the numbers must be growing fast, as currently there are 261 in there already! Browsing through the Sporepedia gives you an idea of the broad possibilities the Creature Editor offers, and provides some insight in the likes and dislikes of their makers. Judging from her Spiderpig, MaxisKate appears to be a Homer fan for instance. MaxisCactus, who has kept us all updated on the latest Spore goings on has been busy as well. In a couple of days with the release of the Spore Creature Editor, no doubt the Sporepedia will explode with activity.

    Its actually not a backdoor. The link to the Sporepedia is on the main http://www.spore.com page. But it is great to see so many creatures already!
