Spore Creature Creator Appears to be Delayed

Kotaku.com yesterday reported that the release of the full version of the Creature Creator appeared to have been delayed a day to Wednesday June 18th for one of their readers. I reported earlier that my own pre-order had been tagged for an earlier release on June the 16th. I just found the following in my mailbox however:

Thank you for ordering on Electronic Arts BV. The date when the product that you
Pre-Ordered will be released has been changed.
The product listed below will now be available on 22 June 2008

That’s quite a slide at the very last moment. For now the official Spore site still says the free version will be available on June 17th, but this may well be subject to change. Simponi will keep you updated as news becomes available.
