Today November 13th marks the release of SimCity Societies for anyone living in North America. People in other parts of the world will have to wait a day or two longer.

The first review of the final game has also appeared on Eurogamer (as opposed to a preview of the unfinished game). Thanks to our editor Gil for pointing that one out. Sadly the review isn’t very positive: Eurogamer gives the game a 5 out of 10.

    I got it. $10 on the shelf at Best Buy, the Trussville Alabama location. That’s right, I said ten dollars and zero cents, first day Best Buy special price.

    Correction. What I got, I thought was the game, but it was a bonus offer containint SC3000 and the exclusive building set download. Oh well. I have seen BB do such opening day offers. I’ll still pick up the game,. tomorrow, even if it’s at the regular price.
